Our community staff are experienced in offering a wide range of services to meet the individuals needs. We have a drop-in centre available, with a pool table, TV, DVD player, computers and fully working kitchen. Planned events and activities are regularly held, helping to create positive relationships and social inclusion.
Our staff have access to a fleet of adapted vehicles, including a fully accessible mini bus. The vehicles are used for a variety of reasons, including taking clients on planned activities.
We offer a 24 hour on-call service for any emergencies outside of office hours. Our highly trained and dedicated staff are able to confidently deal with any issues that may arise.
Along with the drop-in centre, we offer various activities including:
- Arts & crafts
- Music group
- Hair and beauty
- An allotment (where service users can help grow their own vegetables)
- 'Working Together' group
The 'Working Together' group was set up by the people we support to talk about how they would like us to support them in the future. The group also enables people to get together socially, providing them with the opportunity to make new friends. The group has arranged various activities in which they can meet up and do things they enjoy. At a recent open day, the group performed a 'Grease' production, which was a fantastic success and are planning many more productions and activities for the future.
